Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!  We've had a fairly busy Halloween season in our house.  I made costumes for the kids again this year, so I was happy that they got to wear them more than once.  Trenton was a frog prince and Charlotte was a princess.  They were both adorable!

Our Halloween fun started out last week when we went trunk-or-treating with MOMS Club.  I was really worried that Trenton wasn't going to wear his costume since he'd thrown a fit the few times I'd tried it on him at home.  Froggie, Trenton's pull toy, came along to the trunk-or-treat, and Trenton was excited to have someone who looked like him!

This past Friday, MOMS Club visited a local nursing home.  The kids handed out cards to the residents who loved seeing all the kiddos dressed up for Halloween!  Charlotte fell asleep by the time we finished making our rounds, and didn't make it into the group picture.  Getting a bunch of young kids to pose was no easy job, but most of them made it into the picture.

Daddy made it home from sea just in time for Halloween!  And everyone was in the spirit today - even Bailey!  We didn't do a lot of trick-or-treating - actually just four houses - because Charlotte has the beginnings of a cold, and Trenton was complaining about his costume itching him.

Charlotte fell asleep as soon as we got home, but Trenton was ready to have some fun once he got out of his costume.  He loved helping me pass out candy, and found that he is a big fan of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - YUM!

What a fun and memorable Halloween!  We can't wait for next year.  I've already got ideas floating around in my head for next year's costumes!

I am so glad you linked up to Kelly's Korner today! It's too late for me to change the kids costumes this year but I have NEVER thought of doing the Princess and the Frog for my little ones. It's such a great idea very girly girl for Sarah and all boy for Cody. Love it!
May the Schwartz be with You

What a great costume idea for a brother and sister! They are sooo adorable! Love your daughters name, I've said if I ever have a girl I'd name her Charlotte, it's beautiful and classic! Happy Friday :)
