Fruit Loop Flowers

The past few days have been beautiful, but the bad weather rolled in last night, and it’s still nasty outside today.

I pulled out the Fruit Loops at snack time this morning and decided to do a little art project with them.  Trenton loved making Fruit Loop Flowers!  He knows all of his colors, so he didn’t have any problem picking out colors for the flowers.  He also didn’t seem to mind putting the cereal onto the sticky glue, although he was very careful not to get his fingers in it.  He had to move quick – before his sister ate up all the cereal!

After we finished the flowers, Trenton worked on some patterning with the left over Fruit Loops.  He needed a little help at first but soon got the hang of it.

We love incorporating snack time into fun projects.  Do you have any fun snack time projects that you like doing with your little ones?
