Octopus Dinner

We ate octopus for dinner tonight!  No, not calamari.  We had hot dog octopuses that Chef Trenton made!

He loved poking raw spaghetti noodles into the hot dogs!

After making one regular octopus, Trenton made a mutant octopus.  He thought it was really funny to poke a spaghetti noodle through one end of the hot dog and have it poke out the other.

I threw the octopuses in a pot of boiling water for about 10 minutes, and then they were ready to eat!

Trenton was a little less excited about the octopuses once he had one on his plate.  He actually tried two bites of the hot dog part, but he decided he didn’t like it.  I was happy that he even tried it.  Charlotte was happy that her big brother didn’t like his octopus; that meant more for her to eat (cut into small pieces of course)!

One day, 25 years from now, Trenton is going to have a girl over for dinner and he is going to serve her something awesome like an octopus dinner! I know it! She is going to thank you for pushing your son to eat out of his box!

Did I tell you about my dinner at my new man's house? His momma definitely never made him anything cool like this!!
