I saw this wonderful idea here a couple weeks ago and knew instantly that it was something my kids would love.
I mean, who doesn’t want to strip down to their underwear and paint the bathtub?!?!
Each kid had their own paintbrush and set of watercolors, so I didn’t have to worry about sharing problems.
It wasn’t long before Trenton decided that his sister would make a pretty good canvas.
And thus started the application of war paint…
Yes, I let my kids paint themselves. The paint was washable and non-toxic, and they were going straight to their clean bathtub for a bath after the painting session. And there was no crying or whining – just a bunch of cute giggles!
They painted the bathtub and themselves for almost an hour! The best part was that since they didn’t need (or want) my help, I was able to clean the rest of the bathroom while still keeping a close eye on them!
And the paint washed off of the kids and the bathtub without any trouble!
