Felt Christmas Tree

No one wants broken ornaments at Christmastime.  I don’t let the kids touch our Christmas tree a whole lot for that very reason.  I saw this idea on Pinterest, and thought it would be a perfect way for them to decorate their own tree without any worries of ornaments getting broken.

The activity in Sunday’s pocket of our advent calendar was “decorate a Christmas tree.”  So where was I on Saturday afternoon?  Buying supplies to make a Christmas tree!  My mom and I stayed up Saturday night putting everything together, and the kids got to decorate the tree Sunday morning after church.  They had so much fun!  And they can decorate, undecorate, and redecorate it as much as they want!  Mimi even wound up with some decorated pants last night!

I've seen this around pinterest. I have some felt and might actually do this tonight & leave it from our elf on the shelf, Steve! The kids would love it!
