Trenton’s Last Day of Preschool 2011-2012

It seems like just yesterday I was dropping Trenton off for his first day of preschool in Virginia.  Now, nine months later, I dropped him off for his last day of preschool (at least for this year) in California.

Trenton loved preschool in Virginia.  He had a wonderful time, and both he and I made some great friends.  We were sad to leave.

After a month and a half hiatus from school, I was able to get Trenton into a preschool here in California.  It took a little while for him to get accustomed to his new school and to learn a new routine, but before long, he fit right in.  The teachers, administration, students, and parents were all so welcoming to us!

Trenton spent yesterday afternoon working on a project for his teachers (with some help from Charlotte).

Once the flowerpots were dry, I put african violets inside.  I found printouts at Skip to My Lou, taped them onto pencils, and stuck them in the plants.

Trenton was so excited to give the plants to his teachers this morning!

Trenton kept asking why today had to be his last day of preschool, and when he could come back.  Trenton will be going to a different preschool next year, and we will miss all of the friends that we made in the teddy bear classroom.  Thanks for welcoming us into your family!
