It’s the Great Pumpkin

Nothing says Autumn like pumpkins, and I figured it was high time we got out to a pumpkin patch.

Saturday was the day for us.

We drove out to Borchard Farms, known for the giant pumpkins that they grow.

What I wasn’t expecting to find was what has to be every pumpkin, gourd, and squash type known to man.

The kids spent a lot of time in the kiddie ghost town area, and they loved trying to find the biggest pumpkins in the pumpkin area.

(Is there some sort of sibling law against both looking and smiling at the camera at the same time?)

We came home with some nice loot for our front porch.  I was a little let down that we weren’t able to walk through pumpkin fields, but seeing all of the different types of pumpkins, squash, and gourds plus the giant pumpkins made up for that.

I'm coming from the blog hop, btw.

Have a great day ;D!
