How We Spring Break

This post was supposed to be filled with pictures of Blue Bell Creamery, bluebonnets, tractor rides, and warm Texas sun, but with Charlotte spending the weekend sick, I had to cancel our spring break trip to Texas.

So, we’re doing Spring Break Monterey style.

So far, we’ve…

Doctored a nasty toe injury (I’ll spare you and keep the pictures to myself on this one).

Put puzzles together.

The Puzzler
“That’s a good try Mommy, but I’m the good puzzler.” – When I tried to put some pieces together.

Taken puzzles apart.

The Puzzler 2
He might be a bit OCD….

Had a couple playdates with friends.

Tried to go down the slide 100 times in one visit to the playground.

Slide Master
(He made it to 57 before we had to go home.)

Visited the Harbor Seals (it’s pupping season!).

Played around at the Rec Trail.

And went to our first official t-ball practice.  (Trenton and Charlotte missed the first practice last week while we were on vacation.)

And there are still a few more days of Spring Break left.  I wonder what else we’ll find to keep us busy!

I live in Texas and can say for sure that the Blue Bell Creamery and the bluebonnets are cool, but do not hold a candle at all to those harbor seals -- so cool!

Hey - even if it wasn't Texas, it still looks like a lot of fun. (especially the seals - holy cow that's cool!)

Sorry about your trip but still not a bad place to be for spring break! We are having to cancel a trip to FL today due to a sick kid. They sure know how to ruin plans!!

Looks like you're having so much fun! The seals would probably be my favorite of the activities, though a little game of baseball wouldn't be too shabby either! Thanks for linking up with me this week, Jenny.
