Back to School Again

Whoa, whoa, I gotta go…..back to school again!
(Don’t worry, this will be my only reference to Grease 2 on this blog. No posts titled Reproduction: Where Does the Pollen Go?.  Oh, and you can thank me later for getting these catchy songs stuck in your head!)

Well, summer went by pretty fast.  Both kiddos are back in school.

Charlotte started last week.

Ever the procrastinator, I started sewing her dress at 9:15am the day before she started school (a day already filled with storytime at The Farm and ballet lessons).  And I finished after 11pm.

She is at the same school that she and Trenton were at last year, but she has moved up to a new room.

It’s hard to believe that this was only a year ago…

Trenton started his third year of school this morning.

I’d say that he’s definitely gotten better about smiling for the camera!

Trenton is going to a Pre-K program that is walking distance from our house.  It is five mornings a week, and he is so excited to be going to school every day like Daddy!

It’s always sad to see summer come to an end, but the kids are happy to be back in school, and Mommy is happy to have more of a regular routine again!

Holy smokes why do they grow so quickly and change so much?! Hope their first few days have been amazing! Also, I'm going to need sewing lessons... K? K! ;) (Oh and thought you would like to know I am going to try making a fabric tutu for Charli for football season!! We will see if it turns out as cute as Charlotte's!) ;)

I love this idea for annual pictures, so fun to compare! Also don't beat yourself up for sewing Charlotte's dress late, applaud yourself for sewing her dress! Seriously? I couldn't do that if I had a whole year to finish.

I just love that you keep taking pictures with the chalkboard easel. You can see how much they are growing! :)
