What We Gave

We did quite a few DIY Christmas gifts this year.  Here’s a sampling of what we gave…

I printed onto tissue paper and modpodged it onto the jar.  Total pinterest fail there, but Daddy liked what was inside.  Favorites from Charlotte included:
”He is trying to learn to fix my hair pretty.”
”He takes me to the Daddy Daughter Dance.”
”He looks handsome in his uniform.”
Favorites from Trenton included (with Trenton spellings):
”He took me hunting wonse.”
”He is fune.” (funny)
”He plays watr guns with us.”
”He is the best Dad.”

I also gave out a couple of these finger knitted scarves as gifts to family members.DIY Christmas gift ideas
(And check out the awesome Texas necklace that Jarrod gave me for Christmas!)

We had a lot of fun making gifts this year, and even more fun watching those that we love open them.  And no huge messes either – so that’s a big win in my book!

I love all your handmade gifts. The teacher ones are creative and cute. I also love the jars for your husband. I thought I was going to cry over that one! As a parent, it's nice to hear what is making an impression on your kids!
