We Are All Family

The other day Trenton and my mom were having a genealogy conversation.

“Who were Nanny and WaWa’s parents?”
”And their parents?”
”And their parents?”
”And their parents?”

And then…

”Adam and Eve were the first two people.  And everybody else came from them.  So that means that we’re all family, right?”

We are all family.  We are all the same.  No matter what color we are.  My 6 year old gets it.  I wish everyone else could too.

All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
they are precious in His sight.
Jesus loves the little children of the world.”

Gotta love the innocence and purity of children! Perhaps why Jesus told us we should be more like them :)

The innocence of children always astounds me. Really does show how parents and other adult figures can shape a child's perspective on the world. You guys are doing a great job obviously!
